Graduate software engineers applying their skills in software development, data science or data engineering to interesting projects.
14 April, 2025
We have over the years taken on board final year undergrad and recent graduates who have successfully completed their capstone project, as well as Masters and PhD students looking to apply their skills in ethical and privacy oriented software development, data science or data engineering. While the ANU Software Innovation Institute is currently not recruiting for these roles we will announce here when new opportunities become available to work in our highly collaborative teams on upcoming and existing projects. Projects vary in length from several weeks to several months and offer workload flexibility from 2 days per week to full-time. Students on our projects:
add experience to their CV demonstrating expertise in both theory and application
learn how to apply best practice techniques on projects that make a difference
work remotely in collaborative teams with ANU and external experts and an ANU supervisor who leads and supports their work
Our mission is to deliver technology for public good and in particular delivering technology and projects to support your privacy. We have been grateful to the teams of talented people working with us. Some of our projects include podnotes, solidpod, yarrabah, and solid community au.
